About the Women's Team


The L.A. Salsa SC Women's team was formed in Los Angeles in 2017 with the goal of providing a competitive and professional platform for female players ages 16 – 30 seeking to play at higher levels. Today, the team has gained notoriety for being the only U.S. Club team to play in the first friendship tournament held in Spain in the summer of 2018. The team played Atletico Madrid, Everton Ladies FC, and Paris F.C.. Locally, the Salsa Women's team plays in the second Division of U.S. Soccer system called the Women Premier Soccer League (WPSL). The team is also part of Calsouth and play in their yearly Adult State Cup tournaments. The team consists of Collegiate Division I,II and III players as well as a few international national team players from the Guatemalan national team, Gibraltar national team, and Mexican national team.
